Member, Maryland State Bar Association (chair, criminal law & practice section council, 2007); Montgomery County Bar Association (president, 2004-05). President, Montgomery Bar Foundation, 2005-06. Delegate, American Bar Association, 2007. President, Maryland State's Attorneys' Association, 2009-11 (vice-president, training, 2007-08). Member, American College of Trial Lawyers, 2009-.
