FARMERS' MARKETS
- Directory of Farmers' Markets
Maryland produce, in season, is available locally through weekly farmers' markets. Fruits, vegetables, and an assortment of flowers, baked goods, condiments, and more are sold locally at regional farmers' markets, usually once per week.

Some markets, such as the Waverly Market (32nd St.) in Baltimore, and those at Salisbury, Takoma Park, and Kent Island, are open year round. Most, however, are open from spring to late autumn, The largest of these is held in Baltimore City on Sunday mornings (7:00 a.m. to noon) from April 1 to December 23, 2012. It is located at Holliday St. and Saratoga St. under the Jones Falls Expressway.

Other farmers' markets, around the Baltimore metropolitan region, offer fresh produce on Saturday mornings at Dundalk, Highlandtown, Howard Park, and Waverly (32nd St.). Still others open weekdays at Catonsville, Eastpoint, Pikesville, Towson, and White Marsh.

In every county of Maryland, a farmers' market offers a way to buy fresh local produce, and support Maryland agriculture.
